Accusative Case Adjectives
When adjectives accompany der-words in the accusative case, they have the same endings as in the nominative case except for those that modify masculine nouns. Masculine singular nouns are modified by adjectives that end in -en. For example:
Remember that the accusative case is used when a noun or pronoun is a direct object or the object of an accusative preposition. You can review the accusative case in Chapter 6.
